Last week we did another science experiment and focused on the Ilam School Science Learner Skills of using science vocabulary and writing down any questions we had along the way. As we had already practised observing and recording, this was an easy part of the experiment. At each step we had to record what we observed. Once we had discussed what was going on, we then started to write an explanation about what happened at each step using cause and effect conjunctions such as because, so, when, after, if... and the science vocabulary we had just been using throughout the experiment.
